Your guy in a "box"
A tackle box complete with lures, fishing line, extra reels, and bobs would be an unexpected surprise and a delicious treat at a wedding. This was a Groom’s Cake that was made by the bakers on the popular Food Network show, Ace of Cakes. These cakes have become an increasingly popular way to show grooms some love, recognize his personality, and show some fun creativity. An extra slice of dessert doesn’t hurt either!
In all honesty, your groom is a guy, and guys usually can’t tell the difference between lilac and purple place cards…nor would you want them to! Even if he’s not a dessert guy, he will without a doubt appreciate the thought and recognition that went into the cake. And as I mentioned, another bite of something sweet to celebrate this amazing day is never a bad thing. Dig in!
